After experiencing a few “bad” hairdos with the heat cap (nothing was bad about the cap, simply my technique), I have finally ‘perfected’ my curls and use it at least once a week. I tell all of my friends about how easy it is and how much I adore the cap and the curls it produces! So painless and my hair is undamaged!

This morning I twisted my hair and put it in loose curlers to make big gorgeous spiral curls. I grabbed my heatwave cap, placed it in the microwave and hit express (1 minute) and began making breakfast. I noted a peculiar small but dismissed it. Then I heard a ‘pop’ and turned around to see my cap ON FIRE! Luckily I had stayed in the kitchen and not walked away as per my usual course of action. I opened the microwave door, grabbed the cap and ran outside with it, threw it onto the ground and began stomping it vigorously. After some investigation I found that I had left a foam curler with the metal inner inside my cap!
Amazingly, the awesome owner and inventor replaced my cap and I am back to curling and checking EACH TIME that a stray curler isn't hiding in the cap.
